The Glow by Gil Standard
I am a premium manicure prep tech who gives high-attention, detail-focused Builder Gel, Gel X and Gel Polish sets, taking the time needed to focus on prep, nail health and create quality, intricate design. Glow Luxe Manicure is included in all sets.
All prices below are starting prices at short/medium length (XS–M) with Tier 1 nail art. Use the art tier and length add-on sections below to build your full price.

Colour refresh on natural nails
Your base service price covers the treatment and Glow Luxe Manicure prep. Your chosen design tier covers all the artwork in your design — nothing art-related is charged twice. Finishing touches — speciality gels, charms and 3D pieces, extra length, removals and repairs — are the only extras, added just when you choose them.
What will my set cost?
Most Clean Glow sets come to £32–£48, most Soft Glow sets to £47–£65, and most Signature Glow sets to £70–£75. A Builder Gel Full Set with Soft Glow art and no extras is exactly £55. Your exact price is always confirmed by Gil before your deposit is requested — no surprises on the day.
Nail Art Tiers
One unified tier system across Builder Gel, Gel X and Gel Polish. Your tier covers all the artwork in your design — the only separate extras are speciality gels, physical pieces and length. Simple rule: one cohesive design is Soft Glow; detailed handwork throughout is Signature Glow.
Tier 1
Clean Glow
Included in base priceOne colour or barely-there accents — the focus is entirely on prep and finish.
- Solid colour, sheer/milky base, or matte finish
- Up to 1–2 subtle accent details (simple line work, polka dots)

Tier 2
Soft Glow
+ £15One cohesive design across your nails — every technique in the design is included in the price.
- Isolated chrome art — bows, stars, frames, abstract shapes (no extra charge)
- Blooming gel, marble, ombré, aurora, animal print, foil art
- Elevated French — colour, swirl, zebra, blooming tips
- Caviar-bead scatters and fine detailing
Tier 3
Signature Glow
+ £30My most detailed artwork — layered, intricate and given the time it deserves. Everything from Soft Glow included.
- Hand-painted motifs and detailed illustration
- A different design on each nail, or layered mixed techniques
- Embossed and built-up 3D gel art
Bespoke statement sets — character or portrait art, fully gemmed sets and encapsulated designs are priced individually. Send your inspo through the booking form and Gil will quote before anything is confirmed.
Length Add-ons
Short and medium lengths are included in the base price. Add the relevant amount for longer extensions.

Finishing Touches
Your tier already covers all the artwork in your design. These are the only extras — speciality gels, physical pieces and Tier 1 art touches — added only if you choose them, and always confirmed by Gil before your deposit is requested.
Speciality Gels & Effects
Full Chrome or Aurora Finish
Mirror, glazed or aurora powder worked over your whole set — every nail, edge to edge, any tier. (Isolated chrome art within a design belongs to the tiers, not here.)
Magnetic Cat-Eye Gel
A speciality gel shaped with a magnet on every nail — velvet, shifting depth. Any tier.
On a Clean Glow Set — Tier 1 only
Soft Glow and Signature Glow already include French styles and accent art — these two exist only for Clean Glow sets.
Classic French
A clean, classic French tip finish.
Art Accents (1–3 nails)
Simple art on up to three accent nails — a flower, a swirl, a touch of chrome or foil.
Charms & 3D Pieces
Physical pieces added to your design — priced per piece or per nail, confirmed by Gil when she gets in touch.
Charms & Gems
Decorative charms, rhinestones and pearls — from subtle accents to statement pieces. (Tiny caviar-bead scatters are part of your tier — no charge.)
3D Flowers
Moulded or hand-sculpted raised florals and butterflies applied to the nail.
